Here is what you need to know before you enroll...

Each class meets virtually through a private Zoom classroom once a week for three hours per session, allowing you to attend classes in the comfort of your own space.

Your instructor is live during each session, available to answer questions, review information, and demonstrate with up close technology to enhance your learning experience.

Class sizes are small, 4 students per class, allowing each person to receive individual attention when needed. Smaller classes also allow the group to work as a close knit unit through the course material.

Some supplies for learning key skills are provided in the cost of the courses, and mailed directly to you. Students will need some additional fabric and notions beyond what is supplied in the kit. Additional supplies will be thoroughly discussed in class.

Classes are offered Monday mornings and Tuesday Afternoons.

When enrolling please select your preferred time of day, morning or afternoon.

PLEASE NOTE: The time of day you select is only a noted preference. Class dates and times will be assigned and scheduled once a class is full based on the instructors availability and majority preference.

Private lessons are scheduled according to the student and instructors availability.

Description

This course is a no-fuss, relaxed approach to quilting techniques. By completing three instructor-selected projects, students will learn simple quilt block patterns and the basics of machine quilt construction from start to finish. You must be familiar with your sewing machine and the basics of sewing prior to enrolling in this class. It is highly encouraged to take Sewing Fundamentals: Level 1 prior to this course, but not required. Supplies Required: a notebook and pen for notes, a serviced sewing machine, electric cord, foot pedal, machine manual, all tools, feet, and accessories that came with your machine, and a ¼” quilting foot. This course includes a kit of some materials with three of my favorite sewing tools. Students will need some additional fabric and notions beyond what is supplied in the kit. Additional supplies will be thoroughly discussed in class. The kit will mail out prior to the start of class.
